Rooted in Iraq’s October 2019 uprisings, this hybrid documentary relays the story of a silenced revolution, from afar. Recited through a diasporic lens, the narrative unfolds through fractured memories and ruins, in search of not only a way to mourn and remember, but to reclaim a voice long exiled. Blending poetic and experimental forms with a deeply personal journey, the film meditates on the entangled themes of displacement, justice, loss, and hope. As the echoes of a distant rebellion reverberate through diaspora, the film becomes an epic of return—without returning.
